Mondial – Santa Cruz (Californie) – Août 2004

Le mondial s’est couru cette année à Santa-Cruz en Californie. Il a été archi-dominé par les américains (6 bateaux dans les 10 premiers dont les 4 premières places). Ian Pinnel est le premier Européen à la 5ème place et Philippe Boite, équipé de l’allemand Goerge finit à la 15ème place après une belle remontée sur les 3 dernières manches (dont la victoire dans la dernière).

Malheureusement leur début catastrophique ne leur a pas permis de jouer les trouble-fête au général.
